When 24-year-old Charlotte resident an Bobcats dancer Brittany Kerr walked into the American Idol audition room in Savannah, GA, there was only one thing judge Steven Tyler could say: “I say yes!” And, he hadn’t even heard her sing before.

It’s easy to see why. She’s freakin HOT! And, she knows it. Not in a bitchy way, but in a confident one. All she could do as Tyler and other male judge Randy Jackson ogled over her during the audition was giggle. She’s heard it all before.

But, as it turns out, she CAN sing, too.

She belted out “Spoiled” by Joss Stone, which may have made people take her a little more seriously. But, not the lone female judge Jennifer Lopez who was the only one to not give her the vote through to Hollywood. But, thankfully for Kerr, she only needed two votes and the guys both gave her singing (and looks) their approval.

It looks like American Idol fans have as well. The YouTube video of her audition has seen more than 17,000 views since the piece aired on Wednesday night. And, her Twitter page has been inundated with praise and questions for the beauty.

“Hey Brittany! Has anyone told you that you look like Carrie Underwood? ,” tweeted @MariaTyler_. And ever the PR princess, Kerr promptly replied, “Yes:) what a compliment!”

As for her solid physique, @luvinmyvida begged “Please, please please share ur diet and workout routine…u are in amazing shape!” Kerr’s two-part tweet read: “I dance a lot..cardio is a great way to shed weight! get involved in fun stuff.. dance, rock climbing, boxing: ) as for diet… water!! protien…(chkn, fish) dont go to crazy with it tho.. enjoy the foods you love, just less often!”

@David_Ranalli had a more scholarly interest in Kerr, tweeting “alright so im really curious, did you go to college? And if so where?” To which Kerr replied, “i did.. graduated about 2 and a half years ago from ALABAMA: ) roll tide!”

So, she’s hot, talented, and really, really sweet. A triple-threat in our book.

And, you can add humble to her long list of positive qualities. The Bobcats website recounts her journey to the Idol audition which came only after some egging by a fellow Lady Cat.

“I heard Brittany belting it out and I told her, you can genuinely sing,” said Rhema. “She was all bashful saying she couldn’t sing, but I kept telling her she could genuinely sing.”

“I have always been a huge fan of music. I think I just did a lot of singing, in my room, in my car and by myself,” Kerr said. “I started to realize I had a chance to take my singing a step further, so I decided to go on Idol.”

As for her future, no one but Brittany really knows what will come of her time on American Idol, but she’s basking in her glory for now. While hosting an American Idol viewing party at Lucky Strike, Kerr beams and exclaims, “I am super excited. As you guys just saw, I got my ticket to Hollywood. I am here with all my friends and family and they are supporting me.”

Including the friend who discovered her little hidden talent who says Brittany’s star power has always brought a sense of pride to her fellow dancers.

“This is bringing so much attention to our team and organization,” said Rhema. “Brittany was already a star, and now we get to see her on a different stage in a totally different light. We are trying to achieve so many goals and it is truly a blessing, and we could not be more proud of her.”
