What better way to cap off a wild night of drinking than with a cut, swollen, black-eyed mug shot and another notch to your arrest record belt?

Dustin Moates knows all too well as to the humiliation a shiner can bring while sobering up in the drunk tank after he was arrested at 2:43 Sunday morning for a misdemeanor “intoxicated and disruptive” charge.

He’s not unfamiliar with time in the back of a cop car, fighting, or getting drunk either. According to the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department records, Moates was arrested twice in one week back in July of last year. The first on July 2 at 1:36 am for ASSAULT on a government official of a non-aggravated nature and assault and batter of a non-aggravated nature. The second just seven days later on July 9 at 3:18 am when he was caught driving drunk.

At least in those incidents, he came out physically unscathed.

No such luck for the troublemaker this weekend though, as made evident by the cut, swelling and bruise around his right eye.

There’s no word as to whether his injuries came before, during, or after his arrest.
