On the news that the DNC will be just three days instead of four, Mayor Anthony Foxx still sees big opportunity to spotlight the region and spotlight the South.
Convention Officials say that the changes could have a bigger, positive impact by bringing more people into town and spreading them throughout the area rather than just in Uptown.
A local economist we spoke with said that the newly revised three day convention could have some negative impacts however; local businesses in the area do not seem to share the same concerns.
